Vernazza is one of the Cinque Terre, located in Italy, part of the “5 Terre National Park”, part of the “UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE” and recently mentioned in the “Italian Gorgeous Villages” (borghi più belli d’Italia).

On Oct. 25th 2011 Vernazza has been severely damaged by a terrible flood.
